Intern Support Engineer – Data Management

Location:

Weltevreden Park, Roodepoort, Johannesburg

Hours:

Initially office based from 08h00-17h00 and then changes to 24/7/365 rotational shift basis, which includes remote shifts from 16h00-01h00 and 00h0-09h00 on weekdays and 08h00-20h00/20h00-08h00 on weekends. Shifts also include working on Public Holidays.

Minimum qualification requirements (including but not limited to):

• CompTia N+ (Must have CompTia certification – essential)
• CompTia A+
• MCSA
• System Administration
• Certificate in IT Technical Support
• Certificate IT Systems Support
• Certificate in IT Database Administration
• Diploma in IT and Network Management
• Higher Certificate in IT and Support Services
• NQF5 and higher in any of the above

Requirements:

• Need to be inquisitive with good communication skills
• Have a passion to specialise in data management (data backup and recovery)
• Punctual and deadline aware
• Dedicated to their learning and development
• Self-motivated
• Wanting to work with customers
• Must be able to travel to office every day
• Must be willing to work the hours as stipulated
• Must not have a criminal record (background checks are conducted)
• Must be SA citizen
